Small concerns are easier to address when every question does not feel like another bill. Membership is designed to make eligible everyday care simpler to plan and easier to use.

You still make every clinical decision with your vet. The difference is a clearer plan, more predictable costs and a team that stays involved throughout your pet's care.

Opening in Haydock in November 2026.

One fee.

FAQs

We’re doing something most vets in Chorley don’t. So it’s fair that most people have questions. Here are the ones we get asked most often:

How does the subscription actually work?

You pay a fixed monthly fee by direct debit. That covers everything in your plan: consultations, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, dental care, blood work, nurse appointments and routine surgery. No per-visit charges apply to eligible care included in your plan.

What’s included and what isn’t?

Included: consultations, annual vaccinations, year-round flea and worm prevention, dental scale and polish (including extractions), routine surgery (neutering, lump removals, and more), in-house diagnostics (ultrasound, blood work), nurse appointments, and a £0 prescription fee. Not included: advanced or complex procedures, orthopaedics, neurology, advanced surgery. Those are referred to Northwest Referrals, our own advanced practitioner-led hospital.

What happens if my pet needs something outside the membership?

We refer you directly to Northwest Referrals, our advanced practitioner-led hospital in Wigan. Same group, shared records. You’ll receive a clear written estimate before any work begins.

Can I use AnimalKind alongside pet insurance?

Yes. AnimalKind membership and pet insurance cover different needs. Membership covers eligible everyday care included in your plan, while insurance may cover accidents, emergencies or treatment outside the membership. AnimalKind membership is not insurance, so consider your pet’s individual needs before changing any insurance policy.

When does AnimalKind Chorley open?

AnimalKind Chorley opens in November 2026! We will be at 235-238 Eaves Lane, Chorley, PR6 0ET, Haydock.

What are your opening hours?

Monday - Friday: 9am - 6pm
Saturday: 9am - 4pm
Sunday: 12pm - 4pm

What about emergencies or out-of-hours care?

Our practices operate during standard daytime hours. For out-of-hours emergencies, we will be working with a dedicated local OOH provider. You’re never left without cover.
